Gemma Wilson runs the Oxford Half Marathon

Sunday 11 October | Oxford

This October, Gemma Wilson is completing the Oxford Half Marathon to raise money for the Eve appeal: “You might recognise me as the choir member who went from having long hair, to no hair, to short curly hair... I was diagnosed with Stage 3 womb cancer in 2024 and finished treatment 18 months ago. The Eve Appeal has been with me throughout, giving advice, encouragement and a shoulder to cry on. I couldn't have done it without them. I'm not a runner - the only thing I'm usually running is out of ice cream - but I'll be dragging myself round the Oxford Half in October to raise money for The Eve Appeal. Your donation, no matter how small, would make a huge difference to people like me. Thank you” - Gemma Wilson
