The beginning of each University Term is marked at the University Church by a celebration of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer 1662, which from the earliest days was translated into Latin for use in colleges and universities. The service lasts for approximately 40 minutes. The celebrant will be the Revd Dr Zachary Guiliano, Chaplain, St Edmund Hall.
All are welcome to attend and should enter by the High Street entrance. Gowns may be worn by members of the University.

His trial took place at the University Church. The service is sung by the Choir and draws on the Christian Scriptures and the ancient monastic offices of Vespers and Compline; it offers a simple, elegant framework for reflection and prayer.
