The Fifth Sunday of Lent
This Eucharist takes place in the Chancel. An Order of Service is provided for the congregation. The service is simple and contemplative, following the pattern of Common Worship. There is a brief homily and the service lasts for about half an hour. Everyone is welcome to attend.
This Eucharist takes place in the Nave. It is our principal celebration of the week. An Order of Service is provided for the congregation. It includes everything you need to take part. The service is accompanied by hymns and a simple setting of the words of the Eucharist, which is sung by the congregation. The melody is included in the Order of Service. The service is followed by refreshments in the De Brome Chapel. There is also a creche facility at the back of church, where toilets and baby changing facilities are also provided. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Each year, the Prayer Book Society sponsors a day conference to mark the martyrdom of Thomas Cranmer, Archbishop of Canterbury (1533-1555), who died on this day in 1556. Cranmer faced his trial and was condemned to death in the University Church.

This Eucharist begins at the Clarendon Building in Broad Street, where we gather with the donkey and make our way to St Mary's in the Procession of Palms. An Order of Service is provided for the congregation. It includes everything you need to take part. On Palm Sunday, we read the Passion of our Lord, with the congregation taking part in the reading. The service is accompanied by hymns and a simple setting of the words of the Eucharist, which is sung by the congregation. The melody is included in the Order of Service. The service is followed by refreshments in the De Brome Chapel. There is also a creche facility at the back of church, where toilets and baby changing facilities are also provided. Everyone is welcome to attend.

This Eucharist takes place in the Chancel. An Order of Service is provided for the congregation. The service is simple and contemplative, following the pattern of Common Worship. There is a brief homily and the service lasts for about half an hour. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Easter Day is the most important day in the Christian Year and the celebration at St Mary's marks the culmination of our observance of Holy Week. At this service, our choir will be accompanied by Instruments of Time and Truth. The service ends with Handel's Hallelujah Chorus.
An Order of Service is provided for the congregation. It includes everything you need to take part. You are very welcome to participate in the singing of hymns and joining in the words of the service. Everyone is welcome to receive communion - or if you prefer, you are welcome to come forward for a blessing.
