Intermezzo

Intermezzo's next concert takes place on Saturday 16th May, in the University Church on Oxford High St. This special programme is of "music linked to guitar" and features the incredible Ave Regina Caelorum, for choir and electric guitar, by Gabriel Jackson. It also includes works by Whitbourn, Ramirez, van der Merwe, de Araujo, Warland, and others -- from haunting ballads in unusual sound worlds, to American and modern folk, and some flamenco! It even features the choir singing quasi chitarra....
