We're inviting enthusiastic individuals to assist visitors at the University Church, a unique opportunity to learn and share the history of Oxford. With a low commitment of 2 hours weekly, flexible across Mon-Sun, you'll guide visitors, gain experience for a potential professional guide training, and join a thriving community of volunteers. You do not need to be a Christian but respect for Christian values and the church's dual role as a place of worship and tourist site is essential. Enjoy volunteer outings, monthly socials in a historic building, and diverse learning topics. No experience needed; we provide all training. Be part of a friendly community and enrich your knowledge of Oxford’s heritage.

Livestreaming assistants

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers for livestreaming events at University Church. With a low commitment of 2 hours weekly and flexible scheduling,  you will learn about sound systems, livestreaming technology, and event management, covering Sunday services, weddings, and various events. No prior experience needed; full training provided. This role is perfect for those respectful of Christian values and eager to join a friendly community, offering a unique chance to work with AV technology within an educational heritage setting. Join us to develop valuable skills and play a part in broadcasting the vibrant life of the University Church!
