We invite you to visit St Cross Church for an exhibition of Jean Jones' work. The exhibition is significant in that it represents the first major presentation of Jones’ work in Oxford since her solo show at the Ashmolean Museum in 1980 and since her mental illness and deterioration in that period. The exhibition will constitute a moving return to the site of Jones's burial, and will include a number of paintings of St. Cross Church itself – a scene which Jones returned to over and over again throughout her life.
The exhibition will be open every Friday from 18 February to 11 March, 10-12:30; 13:30-16:30. Entry will be free of charge.
