when we remember those who have died.
It will be hosted by Revd Anthony Buckley,

Sister Clare-Louise writes:

Mary, weep not, weep no longer,
Now thy heart hath gained its goal;
Here, in truth, the Gardener standeth,
But the Gardener of thy soul,
Who within thy spirit's garden
By his love hath made thee whole. (New English Hymnal)

Of St Teresa of Avila’s many images and metaphors, the garden of the soul, watered by the waters of prayer, is one of her most famous. In this quiet afternoon we will explore this imagery in Teresa, scripture and elsewhere, and explore ways in which we ourselves can cultivate our own inner garden.
