Ezekiel, Exile and Divine Revelation

Thursdays 20 January - 10 March
Location: Old Library / Hybrid with Zoom link
12.45pm - 1.30pm
In the course of Hilary Term, we will be exploring the Book of Ezekiel. In a series of perplexing visions, and in language which is constantly stretched by the seer to enlarge our understanding of the divine mystery, Ezekiel presents a compelling and sophisticated account of the holiness of God. The course will be led by Annie Calderbank, a DPhil student in Hebrew Bible at Oriel College, and the Revd Dr Will Lamb, the Vicar.
Further information about particular passages in the Book of Ezekiel for participants to read in preparation for the sessions will be posted in the course of the term.
You will be able to join us via Zoom for these Bible Studies. Please email ana-maria.niculcea@universitychurch.ox.ac.uk for further information. You will be sent joining instructions on the day.
