Mark Goldring, Chief Executive, Oxfam

As he reflects on five years at the helm, Mark Goldring offers a range of insights into the way in which the events of 2011 in Haiti and safeguarding issues continue to shape the agenda of OXFAM and how the organisation is continuing to wrestle with the issues of responsibility, trust, integrity, and transparency.

This meeting will take place in the Old Library at the University Church. In this room, the first meeting of the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief took place in 1942. Chaired by the Revd Canon Dick Milford, the Vicar of St Mary's, this committee eventually became OXFAM.
